This pack contains the Houdini project files for both Rain FX and Snow FX, built using basic POP Network setups and rendered with Mantra.
These projects were designed as beginner-friendly practice scenes — showing a full workflow from scratch to final render.
Perfect for learning particle FX basics, collision handling, splash effects, and rendering simple FX shots.

- Houdini
.hipfiles for both Rain and Snow FX setups - POP Networks with collision, forces, and basic splash FX
- Simple geometry instancing for rain drops and snow buildup
- Mantra render-ready scenes with basic material setups
⚠️ Important:
- Megascans and background image assets used in the tutorials are NOT included in this download.
- These assets are free for non-commercial use and can be manually downloaded from Quixel Megascans and Unsplash.
- Due to licensing restrictions, I cannot distribute them directly.
💬 Note:
These projects were created in Houdini 18.5 (recorded in 2021).
Techniques and setups are still highly applicable, even if you are using newer versions of Houdini (20.5+).
